Since the inception of my blog, life has thrown a fair share of curveballs at me. I'm certain all of you have had just as many tossed your way, perhaps more.
What do I know this moment? None of us get through life unscathed. What do I do next? Be there for the people who depend on me.
When will it feel OK to publish something here that is unconnected to my pain?
Not-so-anonymous; Thanks for your thoughts, especially given I purposefully went under-the-radar with this particular post to avoid sounding needy or pitiful. At least, as under-the-radar as any public blog can be, anyway.
Hey Pat. Sorry for whatever it is that you are experiencing that resulted in your post. And you are correct - none of us goes through life unscathed. Family and friends are the usual course of action to remedy most situations. I am sure you have both and are leaning on them as I also know they are helping you already. AS you are there for them. And, while maybe not too helpful or constructive, it's your Blog. Obviously you can post whatever you want. From the short time I have been reading it I've seen so many different topics covered that there is no reason to stop doing whatever is on your mind at any given point in time .... I would imagine it's also somewhat therapeutic to be able to write and share your feelings on the different subjects you have written about - good and not so good. Be well, Bob
Bob; Thanks for the well wishes. Although my intent here was not to be cryptic, I'm also ever-mindful over over-sharing on my blog. That said, I appreciate the support you offer. I'll get through this trauma, as most of us usually do.
Oh dearest Pat - I hope you are OK. Indeed life can be downright cruel and unfair oftentimes. I am thinking of you, my friend.
